Vision Therapy

Vision Therapy is a specialty service provided by Dr. Whipple in which a series of office and home procedures (exercises) are used to help certain eye conditions that cannot be fully corrected by glasses or contacts alone. It is mainly used for school age children, but in some instances is valuable for adults. Some of the visual conditions that can be helped by vision therapy are Convergence Insufficiency, Convergence Excess, Ocular Motility Dysfunction, Amblyopia (lazy eye), Strabismus (crossed eye), and Visual Information Processing Difficulties.(letter reversals and other processing difficulties)
